How to prepare your home for a deep clean

2026 04 29·5 min read

Fifteen minutes of preparation that let the team work faster and make the result even better.

Preparing for a deep clean takes nothing complicated — just a few minutes so the specialists can get straight to the cleaning itself rather than tidying things away. Here’s what’s worth doing before the team arrives.

Clear the surfaces and the way

Quickly gather personal items off the floors, counters and windowsills — papers, toys, clothes. There’s no need to polish anything; it’s enough that the surfaces are clear. The fewer obstacles, the more time is left for the real cleaning.

Flag your priorities

If some areas need special attention — a limescaled shower, a greasy oven, dust after minor work, or a stain on a rug — tell us in advance. That way the team allocates its time correctly and nothing is missed.

See to pets and valuables

However carefully we work, peace of mind is always better. Give a pet its own room or supervision, and put fragile, precious or personal items somewhere safe. That removes any worry over accidental small things.

Ensure access and conditions

Make sure the team can get in at the agreed time, that water and electricity are on, and if you have particular wishes about products — fragrance-free only, say — let us know in advance. If you leave a key, we handle it responsibly and confidentially.

That’s all the preparation you need — everything else is on us. You simply come home to an impeccably clean space, ready to live in.
